Romania withdraws controversial healthcare bill __The Romanian government put the draft healthcare reform bill up for public debate in late December 2011. It included a plan to attract private medical services and insurers into the system. The bill drew criticisms from the public, healthcare experts and also the Deputy Health Minister who resigned over this bill. |

Health care system in Japan - Wikipedia
Japan's system sounds really good.
"Japan provides healthcare services...with the patient accepting responsibility for 30% of these costs while the government pays the remaining 70%...through a universal health care insurance system...with fees set by a government committee...Patients are free to select physicians or facilities of their choice and cannot be denied coverage. Hospitals, by law, must be run as non-profit and be managed by physicians. For-profit corporations are not allowed to own or operate hospitals. Clinics must be owned and operated by physicians."
Cuban Health System
Cuba's system sounds really good too. If a tiny pokai pariah country can achieve this, why not Malaysia who is so much richer?
